What an absolute joke company eBay UK is. Sold a very rare expensive item and the buyer sent me an email how happy he was with the item. Buyer used for 30 days and altered the item mechanics. Buyer than demanded a refund on the 30th day fraudulently suggesting item was not as described. Ebay without investigation automatically refunded the buyer and demanded I return funds to eBay. The buyer never returned the item so I refused to refund eBay. They tried to automatically take the funds from my account without success. No matter what the circumstance in any dispute *eBay will always side with the buyer* even if the buyer has used and damaged the item, failed to return the item or flat out abused the system. Closed my account in disgust. Awful policy on return items.

Terrible support for sellers. High fees to sell, customer service is rubbish as they always take the buyers side even when they are in clear violation of policies.

brought a jansite rearview camera and got a broken toguard rearview and i sent back and left bad feedback and they managed to have the bad feedback removed so i wonder how many times this seller as ripped people off and got feedback removed

Dreadful,told lies by agents Kim and Joseph about issues with a buyer who was too dumb to understand what collection only meant.Followed agents advise to find I was £35 out of pocket.Told by Joseph case reversed in my favour then by Sunadra no it was not.What a bunch of clowns,transcripts showed what agents said but were lies despite Kim verifying buyer could not escalate case.WELL SHE DID AND WAS REFUNDED AND THAT REFUND STANDS.EBay does not offer sellers any protection or help.I am done with it it is not a safe platform to sell on and agents lie

Created an eBay account to sell some used textbooks after passing my degree. Within a day they took my listings down, emailed me that I have been permanently suspended, and there is no explanation as to what I have actually (apparently) done. Nothing. What a despicable way to do business!!

Ebay, the sellers best friend. A seller can sell you the biggest pile of utter rubbish that costs a fortune and when you leave negative feedback they will delete it in favor of a seller who sells dud stuff but makes ebay money on selling fees.

Just spent a wasted 1 1/2 hours on the phone to get nowhere. Can't log in, so can't send outstanding orders. They are useless. Will use Facebook Marketplace in future.

Absolutely disgusted. I was ill and didn’t post an item on time. I then posted it and got a tracking number. They refunded the buyer and the buyer received the item and they now won’t refund me. I’m 250 pound down. Legalised robbery I will be going to small claims court

Ebay is a very stupid organization. They are in cahoots with vendors ripping off customers. Do not purchase anything from this website.
I bought a product on Ebay using my ebay account. I was led to believe that the product I bought was 1 Litre. On receiving the product, it was only 500 ml. So I sent it back using the ebay online form using the printable return postage prepayment.
A few days later, a went to log on to my ebay account to find that through security reasons, I was locked out of my account and had to reset my password. So I reset my password and logged in, and contacted the vendor.
The next day I went to log on, and now I cannot log into my account. I’ve spent 2 hours contacting ebay and all I get is stupid robots talking rubbish.
This service stinks I want my money back, and then I will never use Ebay again.

Ebay is not that bad, you get the occasional person trying to pull a fast one but that's inevitable. The only really bad thing is their PackLink delivery service, stay away from it and use Royal Mail.

I purchase a mobile case and screen protector for my OPPO RENO 4 PRO 5G mobile.
Unfortunately the seller sent me wrong item. OP NOTE 4 PRO.

I SEND A MESSAGE and they asked me to return the item. Then I requested them for return postage lebel, as it is their fault not mine, so I won't pay for return postage.
Then I received a message mention here is your return postage lebel. but there wasn't any postage lebel.
I requested to send me again - then they asked me to provide more pictures to prove the item is in original package, so I provided more pictures. then there is no more response from them.

I messaged them few more times but seems the seller no more.
what a stupid seller and the ebay is stupid now a day. I tried a lot to contact ebay team but couldn't found any option. all options take me to the seller.

so the seller and Ebay robbed my money and time.

stupid ebay stupid seller.

the ONLY 2 reasons people still use ebay is
1] you can (with some digging) weed out most china based sellers
2] to sell second hand stuff/motors

other than that, its pointless, as you'll just end up with a branded-fake SD card, watch, tool or car-part that wont last 5 seconds.

eBay is the counterfeit capitol of the world.

I have been using eBay for over 15 years and have sold numerous items with no problems whatsoever during this time
a couple of weeks ago I sold a brand new pair of ladies shoes but unbelievably my payment funds were put ‘ on hold ‘ until delivery was confirmed ????!!!
this meant that my buyer had her items for over a week before eBay transferred the money into my bank account
I am so incensed that I will never sell anything else on this platform
and why can sellers only leave positive feedback for buyers - what if there’s a problem ??
this is yet another totally unfair policy against the seller

Ebay blocked me for trying to sell artwork. No reason. Then the website gave me no way to fix the problem.
